BergerPearls No.1, the functional power pearl for your champions,
stands for the next step in modern racing pigeon nutrition: away from many individual products and towards a holistic supply system. With just one daily dose, pigeons receive a modern feed supplement designed on the basis of the latest nutritional and microbiological findings, which is both a source of energy and a functional health concept.
The pearls are based on high-quality peanut kernels and peanut meal, which are instinctively and readily absorbed from the very first feed. The matrix contains a wealth of highly concentrated and functional ingredients to stabilise the intestinal environment, modulate the immune system and strengthen the pigeons' resilience to stresses such as training, moulting, breeding and rearing or transport.
Its unique and particularly gentle production process ensures maximum nutrient safety. The result: readily available energy, highly digestible protein, strong intestinal health and a resilient immune system. - Energy & protein base: Peanut kernels (19 % fat, 19 % protein) for growth, endurance and muscle recovery.
- Intestinal health: Probiotics, prebiotics and fibre for a stable microbiome.
- Immune defence: Beta-glucans and colostrum powder (immunoglobulins) for protection and rapid recovery.
- Selective antimicrobial protection: Medium-chain fatty acids (MCTs) and functional flavours against pathogenic bacteria without disturbing the balance of the intestinal flora.

Feeding recommendation:
2-4 g per pigeon daily depending on need and requirement:
- To support growth (moulting, breeding, rearing): 2 g per pigeon per day.
- To support immunity (e.g. young pigeon rearing, JTK, infections, drug treatments) 3-4 times a week.
- To promote regeneration after periods of stress (e.g. racing pigeons, illnesses, vaccinations) over 3-5 days.
- Rest periods, winter: 1 g per pigeon per day.
- To regulate digestive activity and against endoparasites up to 20 % of the daily ration daily.
- Larger quantities of up to 10 grams per pigeon per day should only be fed over a maximum period of 5 days.

- Rest periods, winter: 1 g per pigeon, 2–3 times a week.
- To regulate digestive function and combat endoparasites, up to a maximum of 8 % of the daily ration.
- Larger quantities, up to 8% of the daily ration, should only be fed over a maximum period of 5 days.
