The racing season is over, and the events season is about to begin! Over the coming months, I’ll be out and about at numerous events once again.
I am looking forward to meeting people in person, having fascinating discussions and exchanging views on pigeon health, care and our sport of pigeon racing.

Awards ceremony for the 2026 Gold Cup flights – featuring personal exchanges and technical discussions
On Sunday, 11 October 2026, I am a guest at the RV Gelsenkirchen-Buer for the prize-giving ceremony for the 2026 Gold Cup flights.
I am looking forward to meeting many fanciers in person, reflecting together on the past racing season and discussing current issues relating to our sport of pigeon racing.
From 11.30 am, it’s time for „Berger Live“ on tour!
The focus will be on an open discussion and your questions – just as you’ve come to expect from my livestream „Ask Berger Live“ knows.
Whether it’s pigeon health, feeding, recovery, performance or the challenges of our sport of pigeon racing: I look forward to interesting discussions, differing views and new ideas.

Regional Association Day 2026 – 100 years of the Limberg Regional Association!
Alfred Berger and Robert Maaß at a joint expert forum
On Saturday, 31 October 2026, I attended the Regional Association Conference of the RegV 255 visiting Bohmte. At the same time, the RV Limberg celebrates its 100th anniversary – a special occasion for getting together, presenting awards and sharing our experiences of the sport of pigeon racing.
From 1.00 pm, Robert Maaß and I will be hosting a joint panel discussion featuring a presentation by an expert.
Robert Maaß is a product manager at Mifuma and a highly successful carrier pigeon fancier himself. We are united not only by our long-standing collaboration in the field of pigeon nutrition, but also by our passion for carrier pigeon racing.
Together, we would like to discuss current issues relating to Pigeon health, feeding, metabolism, recovery and performance talk about – but also about the challenges and prospects facing our sport.
The focus is not only on our experience and expert assessments, but above all on your questions and the open discussion.
